Vintage Vine House w/ Private Guest House is a charming 1940s home in the heart of Murphys. A short walk to local wineries, dining & shops, the home blends vintage charm & modern comfort. With lots of room for your group, the home is perfect for fun, meals, & relaxing after a day of excursions or exploring downtown! The space Vintage Vine House offers a perfect blend of vintage character and modern comforts, featuring the 3-bedroom main house plus a spacious private studio accessed from the backyard that serves as the fourth bedroom. The home is just a short walk from Murphys’ wine tasting rooms, restaurants, and boutique shops. Only 20 minutes to Calaveras Big Trees, 45 minutes to Bear Valley Ski Resort or Lake Alpine, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. Inside the main house, the spacious family room features an oversized couch and 65” TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen and adjacent dining nook comfortably accommodate the whole group, with games available for entertainment. The three bedrooms include one with a King bed and dedicated workspace, and two additional bedrooms with comfortable Queen beds. The backyard studio serves as a private fourth bedroom, located just behind the garage and accessed separately from the backyard with its own keypad entry. Inside, the studio offers a full kitchen with a fridge, cooktop, and ample counter space, along with cabinets stocked with cookware, utensils, glasses, and spices. Counter seating overlooks the backyard and the hills beyond—perfect for morning coffee or casual meals. The open studio layout includes a kitchen area, living area, and sleeping area, giving the space a comfortable and roomy feel. The living area features a futon and large 55” TV, while the sleeping area includes a Queen bed with extra blankets stored in a chest at the foot of the bed. The large bathroom features a vintage-style soaking tub with an added vintage shower fixture set on a raised platform, adding to the home’s classic charm. The backyard is the crown jewel of the home, with a fire pit area, expansive deck for lounging, a dining patio with chiminea, and beautiful views across a large open field with the hills just beyond. Enjoy a game of darts on the custom outdoor dartboard or a round of cornhole on the long patio. Guest access The hallway closets are reserved for our housekeeper's supplies, and the garage is not accessible for guests. Enjoy the rest of the house, studio, and laundry room! Other things to note The private studio is accessed from the backyard, just behind the garage. The entrance has it's own keypad entry which will be the same code as the front door, the laundry room will have this code as well.
