Guest access The garden apartment is located on the ground floor of a large family home, which is located right by the fjord, at the innermost part of Vestlandsfjord between high mountains. Possibility of fishing and boating. If there are guests in the main apartment, the use of the boat must be agreed with them. Boat rental nearby. Good hiking opportunities along roads and trails to mountains and water and waterfalls. Grocery store: approx. 20 min drive. You will be staying in the red house located at the far end. Parking: Walkway approx. 70 m. There is no road for the last 70 meters. The road goes behind/above the boathouses. Parking by the light pole in the open space by the bus shelter, but avoid the actual turning space for the bus. For help transporting your luggage, you can find a wheelbarrow up behind the corner of the red house. Other things to note At the far end of the house is a shed, there are tools, life jackets, oars for the boat and other things needed for a place like this. These items can be used, but of course must be put back after use. At Eidslandet there is no café that serves dinner, but over by the parking lot there is a small café where you can buy drinks and ice cream, among other things. In Mo in Modalen municipality, about 15 minutes drive away (up the valley, and through the Modal tunnel) is a Coop store, and also a café that serves dinner dishes. There is also a bowling alley and a swimming pool. 12 km out along the fjord, on the exciting road that was completed in 1939, is Stamneshella, where there is also a shop (Joker). 5 km out along the fjord is Hesjedalsfossen, an attraction.
