Lustragard, a perfect "basecamp" in Norway, Room 4

Lustragard is a perfect "basecamp" for travellers wanting to explore Norwegian fjords, glaciers, mountains, waterfalls and numerous attractions such as stave churches, museums and art galleries. You will feel comfortable with spacious room in this unique building. Each room is presented in a separate advertisement. Room 4 is our biggest room, with a double bed and a sofa you can turn into an other double bed. The corner room have fjord view on the front side and on the side. The space Lustragard is easy to find close to the famouse tourist road - "Sognefjellsvegen". (Lustravegen 3180, 6872 Luster, Norway) Design features of the building is special wood carvings. The building from 1920 has priviously served as headquarter for the local bank and municipality offices. The property has a big parking lot and a outdoor sitting place. It has a nice view over the fjord "Lustrafjorden", a part of the famous "Sognefjorden". Possible activities in the region is boating, cycling, mountain hiking or climbing, skiing, rafting, guided glacier trips. etc. The local village Luster has two grocery shops, one bakery, a stone church etc. Guest access We have a spacious parking lot next to the building. The bus stop "Gamlebanken" is just next to the property. It´s possible to just walk to the nearest grovcery store/bakery in 5 to 10 minutes. The host can provide you with information about local hiking routs, roundtrips and viewpoints. Just ask! During your stay The host couple lives in a neighbouring house, and is fluent in English and Norwegian. Family members can also speak a little Japanese and Tamil, and have lived abroad. There will always be some of us present. Other things to note Some parts of the building is currently under renovation. Cleaning of rooms, bed linen and towels on the beds is included in our prices. We are a localy registered business and we charge 12% VAT that is included in our prices.
