Step into a red Dala cottage in the heart of Dalarna

Welcome to Djuralyckan, a classic red Dalarna cottage for four in a small village in the heart of Dalarna. Here you live quietly with nature around the corner and the genuine village life just outside the door. The morning begins with silence and birdsong. The evening ends with the tranquility that only the countryside can provide. A place to land, unwind or start from when you want to discover Dalarna. The space The cottage can accommodate four guests and is spread over two floors. You step inside a small hallway where the shoes get to rest after the day's adventure. From there, the cottage's heart opens, the spacious kitchen with dining area for four, an obvious gathering place for long breakfasts and late evenings. Next door is the small living room with TV, a soft and cozy nook to curl up in when the darkness falls outside. The bathroom with shower and toilet is accessed from the hall. Please note that the bathroom is small and has a smaller sink. It is fully functional but not very spacious. Upstairs two bedrooms await. In each room there are two beds together as a double bed but they can easily be pulled apart if you wish to sleep separately. Outside the entrance there is a patio where you can sit down with your morning coffee and feel the tranquility that surrounds the village. Distance by car: Dalhalla - about 45 min Rättvik - about 30 min Leksand - about 20 min Romme Alpin - about 40 min Mora - about 65 min Falun - about 45 min Gagnef train station - 7 min Guest access During your stay, you will have the entire cottage to yourselves as well as the patio at the entrance. The yard is shared with me, who live in the house next door. Other things to note The cabin is located on a farm that is shared with the host. The accommodation is self-catering. Guests bring their own bed linens and towels. Final cleaning is not included in the base price but can be booked in advance for a fee. Check-in is easy according to agreement. The key is either in the door upon arrival or in the key box. Unfortunately, charging an electric car is not possible during the stay. Pets are welcome for a fee of SEK 300 per animal and stay.
