Typical stone house in the Pays d 'Uzerche, located in the heart of the Correzian countryside. It offers a peaceful setting, without direct vis-à-vis, ideal for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. Its unique character lies in its balance between rural authenticity and comfort. It is a place suitable for stays for families or friends, to reconnect with the essentials, explore the Pays d 'Uzerche and discover Corrèze. The space This house is our main residence, and we rent it out in the summer while we are away. Please note that we remove our personal items as much as possible, but some will remain. You will therefore not be in a sanitized house but in a charming house in the countryside. On the ground floor, you will have a beautiful and spacious living room with an equipped kitchen area, a dining area and a living area, a bedroom open to the outside with a double bed, a large bathroom with shower and double sink unit, and a toilet. The kitchen, equipped for us, will allow you to cook good meals, unless you prefer good grills on the barbecue (wood or charcoal) outside. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Outside, you can enjoy the surrounding calm in the shade of a large linden tree to the rhythm of the crickets' song. A very little-used communal road passes in front of the house without causing any disturbance. Here, you can rediscover silence and our beautiful starry sky without light pollution. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, except for the attic and outbuildings. Other things to note Self check-in using a key box; the code will be provided to you the day before your arrival. Mattress covers, duvets and pillows are available on site. Bed linen, bath towels, and tea towels are not included in the rental so as not to impose the extra cost on our guests. If you'd like to bring your own linens, we will give you the dimensions of the beds. Otherwise, a linen pack is available for an extra charge (€5/pers). For the final cleaning, we ask that the accommodation be returned in the condition in which it was found. For those who wish, a cleaning option is available for €50, to be paid on site. Please let us know if possible upon check-in. Events allowed after agreement Things to see and do: lots of things! We are in a beautiful area, and everyone will find something to see or visit that they like. -Swimming at Lake Pontcharal is 10 minutes away. - Pompadour is 10 minutes away, with its castle, its racetrack where you can watch the races, its stud farm to visit, as well as its many events and competitions throughout the summer, and you can go relax at the casino, which has recently opened. - Uzerche, 10 minutes away: a beautiful village with an old town. You can go kayaking there with your family and cool off in the Vézère or at the Bialet waterfalls. - Ségur le Château, classified as the most beautiful village in France, 25 minutes away Feel free to ask us based on your interests.
