The space Towerview is a charming private cottage in Benalla, perfect for couples seeking a peaceful country escape. Relax in style with air-conditioning, heating, a cosy Chesterfield sofa and a freestanding bathtub for long, relaxing soaks. Step outside to your own private courtyard to enjoy your morning coffee and the fresh country air. Bedrooms: Both bedrooms feature queen beds with crisp, high-thread-count linen for a restful night’s sleep. Generous built-in wardrobes come with extra quilts and pillows for your comfort. If you’re travelling solo or as a couple and only require one bedroom, please contact us prior to booking to discuss options - the cottage will remain entirely private for your stay. Bathroom: The beautiful bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a luxurious freestanding bathtub. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are provided for every guest. Kitchenette: The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine. A gourmet selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate is provided to make your stay extra comfortable. For weekend stays, we like to make your visit a little extra special by providing a complimentary local wine. To cater for the wide range of dietary preferences and allergy requirements our guests may have, we do not provide bread. Instead, we provide a selection of breakfast staples for you to enjoy at your leisure, including muesli, gluten-free muesli, a variety of jams, Vegemite, peanut butter, butter and fresh milk. Should you wish to add fresh bread to your breakfast, several lovely local bakeries nearby offer a great selection each morning. Location: Towerview is just a short walk into town via the scenic Lake Benalla walking track. Explore local cafes, shops and wineries nearby, then return to your private cottage to relax and unwind. Guest access Upon arrival, you can access the property through the front gate and enter the house via the front door. A few hours before check-in, you will receive a 4-digit code for the front door keypad. Street parking is available directly in front of the property. Other things to note Benalla is a picturesque country town located around two hours north-east of Melbourne. It’s a favourite destination for couples looking to enjoy a relaxing weekend escape and Towerview offers a peaceful, private stay where you can settle in and feel completely at home while exploring the region. The cottage is just a short walk into town via the scenic Lake Benalla walking track. Spend the day visiting some of the wonderful nearby wineries, all within a short drive, then return to your own private cottage to unwind with a long soak in the freestanding bathtub or relax on the sofa with a glass of local wine. Please note that we live on the property in a separate adjoining residence at the rear of the house. Your space is fully self-contained and private and we respect our guests’ space throughout their stay.
