The Stable House, a luxurious retreat

Discover this welcoming and spacious 1-bedroom property, set over two floors. Retaining many of the original features, this renovated property features a large lounge area with sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious characterful bedroom with king-sized bed and dressing area. A terrace boasts unspoilt views overlooking the walled garden and pasture. Parking is available, with electric car charging available at the main hotel (fees apply). The space Located in the grounds of Farlam Hall Hotel, 12.5 miles south-east of Carlisle and only a few miles from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall, the North Pennines and the Scottish Borders. Treatments are available to book at our on-site Sycamore Retreat, offering a variety of GAIA Skincare treatments or, if you are looking for something a bit more active then country pursuits such as golf, hiking, fishing, cycling and clay-pigeon shooting are also available locally. There is a fully equipped kitchen but guests are more than welcome to make a reservation to dine in our Michelin-starred Cedar Tree Restaurant (Wednesday-Saturday) or Bistro Enkel (Sunday-Tuesday). The property consists of: - A spacious lounge area with comfortable sofa and chairs, smart TV, Tivoli Digital radio, with patio doors leading on to a terrace area with patio furniture. No BBQs or open fires permitted. - A fully fitted kitchen with everything that you would need, including a washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, dining table to seat 4 guests. Basic cleaning up products will be provided. - One master bedroom with a king bed, dressing area with lots of built-in storage, Dyson hairdryer, smart TV. The bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower, with Molton Brown toiletries provided. Complimentary wifi throughout the property. Linen, towels and robes will be provided. 4 persons maximum (with 2 children sleeping in sofa bed) Guest access The entire house is yours to enjoy and free free to wander around the beautiful grounds. There is a shared entrance porch but with it's own front door. Other things to note We ask that guests respect our peaceful setting and our neighbours. No parties and no smoking indoors.
