Unobstructed view - Loft

The Blickinsfreie is an old accordion factory on the edge of the forest, which we lovingly and very individually renovated from 2015-2017. Surrounded by the forests of the upper Vogtland, not far from the Czech beer, you can retreat with friends or alone to get away from it all. Slowing down as you can't experience it better. The space THE LOFT WITH UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS Our loft is a very individually equipped apartment with forest and nature views all around. The loft, renovated in an industrial look, has all the basics to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In the front part of the loft is the individual kitchen with gas stove (liquid gas), small refrigerator, toaster, kettle, French press, espresso machine and extensive dishes & cooking equipment. Of course, this also includes oil, salt, pepper, spices, but also some herbal teas from our garden. There is no mixer. A large dining table that seats up to 8 people leads into the cozy part of the loft with 2 armchairs, sofa and desk. Since we care about sustainability and resource conservation, some items in the apartment may not be as usual. For example, the refrigerator. It is only a small 40 liter cube, since we rely on natural cooling in the multipurpose room at approx. 8-12 degrees. This protects the environment and conserves resources. In addition, a large shared refrigerator with freezer compartment is also available if needed. The sleeping area in the back of the loft has 2 double beds (each 1.40 m wide). Please note that this is a loft, i.e. there are no separate bedrooms. Curtains are ONLY available at the 2 windows in the sleeping area. All other windows CANNOT be darkened. Please take a close look at the photos to avoid misunderstandings. As a special highlight, there is an old piano with a view of the forest, which is tuned once a year. The piano can be played between 8 am and 8 pm. However, it is not a children's toy and must be treated with respect. I attached particular importance to light in the living space during the renovation. Thanks to the specially handmade aluminum workshop windows with insulating glazing, a lot of light enters with a size of 1.50 × 1.50 m per window. A request in this context is daily ventilation in the morning and evening to counteract moisture in the old building structure. As often requested by guests: bed linen, slippers, towels & bath towels are on site. You don't have to bring anything. The large shared garden with campfire invites you to socialize. Extra beds on our sleeping floor are possible for up to 4 more people on request. There is also a mobile baby bed & baby chair on request. Guest access HOUSE RULES Our loft is now your second home for a few days. You should be able to feel comfortable and rest. The points listed below are intended to provide assistance for a harmonious stay. We are sure you will understand this agreement. This is to make sure that you and other guests will continue to have a great accommodation is preserved. - First of all: pets are prohibited, as we rent the loft as allergy-friendly. Thank you for your understanding. In our 2nd offer, the Blickinsfreie Cabin, pets are possible on request. - Please note that it is an old house with wooden beam ceilings. It is accordingly noisy and not as insulated as a modern new building. Therefore, we ask you to keep the volume normal. Therefore, in the spirit of good neighborliness, a quiet period must be observed from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. - No smoking in the entire house. An ashtray is located on the terrace. Smoking is also possible there. - Respect the nature we live in. Cigarette butts in the garden or garbage is an absolute no-go. - Alcohol or party excesses are prohibited! - Visits by other people who are not part of the booking are prohibited and will result in additional fees in the event of non-compliance! - The piano is tuned every year and used by professional musicians. It is not a children's toy and must therefore be treated with respect. - All guests must wash their used dishes, pots and all other kitchen utensils upon check-out. The final cleaning fee does the kitchen appliances & utensils! On the day of departure, the dishes may be placed in the shared dishwasher. I'll show you this on arrival. - The landlord is not liable for valuables of the guest(s). - Since there has been an increase in damage to the fruit tree population and flower beds in the garden by children playing lately, I would like to point out once again that all ball games are only allowed on the orchard meadow above the house. - Bio-diversity is very important to us. For these reasons, there are also many uncut areas and various flower corners in our garden. These areas are not to be entered, that is, insect land. That's a good thing, as there are more and more ticks every year. For this reason, the uncut areas should also be avoided. Please discuss this with your children so that there are no misunderstandings. Thank you for your understanding and support in protecting nature in this wonderful place. - Your safety is important to us. In addition to the modern heating, a fireplace is also available for use in winter. The operating instructions for the stove are therefore available on site and must be read for safe use! Of course, I will also give you a briefing. Of course, smoke detectors are installed and there is also a fire extinguisher. If you want to use the stove, please let us know when you arrive. I will provide wood. - When leaving your accommodation, it must be locked. Likewise, all windows must then be closed in order to avoid possible damage in the event of a storm. - Please use the resources of water and electricity sparingly. Thank you! - House rules: In the event of an emergency that cannot be postponed, it may be essential for the landlord to enter the apartment without the guest's knowledge. - Please never hand over the keys. In the event of loss, the renter shall bear the cost of replacement. - No street shoes in the house. Slippers are available on site, but you are also welcome to bring your own. - Check-in is possible from 3 pm, check-out must be done by 11 am. An additional fee will be charged for late check-outs. - Since we are not always at the property, we must be informed of the arrival time no later than 10 am on the day of arrival. The house rules are the basis of your booking. Other things to note ADDITIONAL SERVICES: WELLNESS I CAMPFIRE I BARBECUE RENTAL (advance reservation required!) 1) WELLNESS Depending on availability, we offer the following wellness offers. If these are the basis of your booking, please ask me briefly if they are available in your period. Bath towels are on site. Please bring bath slippers / bath shoes. HOT TUB: Book a bath for you and your friends under the stars in our Kirami hot tub for up to 6 people. I will gladly provide the costs per 3-hour usage time window on request. SAUNA: If you like to use a sauna, we have a Scandinavian outdoor sauna for max. 8 people including cold water shower. I will gladly provide the costs per 3-hour usage time window on request. 2) CAMPFIRE If you want to make a campfire, you are welcome to do so. Wood can be bought from me by the wheelbarrow for 15 euros each. Please note that campfires are only possible up to forest fire level 3 and no wind. 3) BARBECUE We rent a large charcoal grill for a small usage fee of 5 euros/day.
