Description
The traditional kominka-style Hotel Carve de Shintsu has opened, located in a quiet residential neighborhood just an 8-minute walk from Toyama Station, a short stroll past the bustling downtown area.Limited to one group per day, entire property for rent. Right next to Kamitō-cho, one of the largest Class A rivers in the prefecture, the Kamitō River, flows through the area. Long ago, the Jintsu River made a large bend, and this area of Jintsu Town was plagued for a long time by major flooding caused by the river's rapid current. As a result of the 1901–present river straightening project (the Hikiwosari Project), the Jintsu River was straightened, and the surrounding area was largely protected from flooding. Due to its historical background, the name “Curve de Jinzu” was chosen to evoke the atmosphere of the entrance, which resembles the “curve” of the Jinzu River at that time and a cave (“grotte” in French). With its nostalgic, Showa-era charm and modern, tranquil atmosphere, we hope you can relax and recover from your travels while experiencing a touch of history. This is a single-family home located in a quiet residential area with a refreshing breeze, despite being in the heart of Toyama City. Enjoy a relaxing moment.
