The space Villetta Monte e Mare is a historic winery surrounded by terraced vineyards on Mount Etna; built in 1790 from local lava stone. The Villetta consists of three separate, directly adjacent houses: Vigneto, Vulcano and Naxos. It is located 700 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, Calabria, Taormina and the 3,403m high Etna. The location ensures a light breeze, so that even hot summer days are pleasant. The 1 meter thick walls made of lava stone ensure a pleasant living climate even in summer. Over 20,000 m² of cultivated vineyards with oak, olive and walnut trees invite you to take a walk in nature. The houses are ideally located – about 20 km from Taormina and Catania and only 10 km from the beach, the port of Porto di Riposto and the majestic Etna. In the nearby village of Presa (2.5 km) you will find a pizzeria and a small supermarket with a bakery. Puntalazzo (3 km) offers more shopping with a butcher shop and a café with a pastry shop. Catania Airport is about 30 minutes away, Giarre/Riposto train station is about 10 minutes away.
