The Little House in Hooke

Little House is a charming 1-bedroom retreat located in the picturesque village of Hooke in beautiful West Dorset. This inviting cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo escape, accommodating up to 2 guests comfortably. The House contains a comfy super-king bed and bright sitting room with kitchen. Outside, the south-facing cottage has private access, shared driveway parking, and a private Little Garden which we try to keep in bloom with wildflowers throughout the summer. The space The cottage comprises a spacious sitting room, comfortable bedroom and ensuite with bath and shower. In the sitting room you'll find a large sofa and armchair, TV, a dining table and a kitchenette stocked with tea, coffee and all the basics you'll need to prepare a meal including gas-ring hob, fridge-freezer. and combination microwave-oven. The bedroom has a comfortable super-king bed, storage for your clothes and luggage and a floor-length mirror. We can also supply extra blankets in case you get chilly at night. In the ensuite, you'll find a shower and bath and a vanity unit with mirror. We also have a hairdryer and iron if needed. Outside, you'll have your own private space, including a south facing garden with a little lawn and flower beds, and a table and chairs for outdoor dining, a glass of wine or whatever you fancy. The cottage is across the driveway and screened from the main house by a high beech hedge. It's out of sight and earshot, so you'll have absolute privacy during your stay. Guest access You'll have the whole cottage to yourself, as well as your own little garden. If you need to use the washing machine or dryer, they're in the toolshed adjoining the rental property.
