"Il Casaletto" is arranged on two floors, on the first floor, double room, TV, bathroom in the room and kitchen compartment. On the second floor, there is a suite room, with three beds, TV, a living room with two extra beds, a safe, 1 bathroom, and a kitchenette. The space Pets are allowed. The accommodation is equipped with wi-fi. Other things to note We are located within a park, the Pollino National Park, which has an area of about 200 thousand hectares, a fabulous vegetation where you can meet deer and wolves. Its peaks, among the highest in southern Italy, are covered with snow for many months of the year. From the peaks, with the naked eye, you can see, to the west, the Tyrrhenian coasts of Maratea, Praia a Mare, Belvedere Marittimo and, to the east, from Sibari to Metaponto, the Ionian coast. It is possible to organize excursions in the Park, and admire its emblem: the loricato pine (Pinus heldreichii), a very rare species in Italy, present in other phytoclimatic stations of the Balkan and Greek mountains, using expert and professional guides. Latronico is a municipality in Basilicata or Lucania, the only region in Italy with a double name, a thermal municipality where there is an abundance of water, woods, greenery, certified good air, tranquility and relaxation. A meeting point between mountains, spas (health and beauty, the Lucanian Spas are equipped with a SPA open all year round) and the sea, it is a town located between the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian. Metaponto (Ionian) and Maratea (Tyrrhenian), the first in the province of Matera, which combines sea and wide golden beaches with the glorious history of Magna Graecia, guarding precious historical finds. On the Tyrrhenian Sea, on the other hand, Maratea bursts forth with its extraordinary beauty, for its breathtaking cliffs, for its picturesque coastal and mountain landscapes, and for its artistic and historical peculiarities, Maratea is one of the main tourist destinations in the region, so much so that it is also known as "the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea". And more... Latronico is just a few kilometers from the largest earthen dam in Europe: the Monte Cotugno dam, where you can come across high-level rowing races in summer, and much more.
