Treat yourself to a relaxing, quiet stay for the whole family in an elegantly renovated accommodation in the heart of nature. Enclosed garden. The space Le Fournil de la Rouquette is an old building steeped in local tradition, originally used for baking bread and drying chestnuts. It was converted into a residential home in 1985 and underwent a complete renovation in 2025/2026, which successfully balanced energy efficiency requirements with the preservation of a traditionally built home. With a living area of 70 m², Le Fournil is composed of two levels. The ground floor consists of an open-plan living-dining-kitchen area. Living room with a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a coffee table in front of the arched entrance to the old oven. A dining area with a spacious round table that can be supplemented with an extension. A fully equipped, completely renovated kitchen including: a double-sink, a built-in oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine, a ceramic cooktop with a range hood, and storage space. Upstairs, we find: - Two 13 m² bedrooms (one with a 160 x 200 cm bed and the other with two 90 x 190 cm beds) with bedside tables, bedside lamps, and closets - One separate bathroom with vanity unit, sink, walk-in shower, and toilet The bedding is new (2026) and high-quality. Please note that all the rooms upstairs have tilt-and-turn windows, wooden exterior shutters to block out light in the bedrooms, and a room-darkening curtain in the shower room. On the ground floor, with the exception of a small window to the east, the floor-to-ceiling windows have wooden shutters or external roller blinds. The surrounding area has been designed to allow multiple vehicles to park without any restrictions. The private south-facing garden can be accessed from an outdoor terrace and provides access to a garden shed for storing bicycles and other garden equipment. The house is heated by a pellet stove, and there is a heated towel rail in the shower room. In addition to the kitchen hood, the house is ventilated by a central mechanical ventilation system.
