Tack House is a beautifully appointed, luxurious and spacious property, set across two floors. Relax in the generous open plan living area with a comfortable seating area overlooking the kitchen garden, dining table for 4 guests and large kitchen with island unit. The upstairs bedroom has a super-king bed and seating area, and the bathroom features a claw foot tub, walk in shower and double sink. Parking is available, with electric car charging available at the main hotel (fees apply). The space Located in the grounds of Farlam Hall Hotel, 12.5 miles south-east of Carlisle and only a few miles from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall, the North Pennines and the Scottish Borders. Treatments are available to book at our on-site Sycamore Retreat, offering a variety of GAIA Skincare treatments or, if you are looking for something a bit more active then country pursuits such as golf, hiking, fishing, cycling and clay-pigeon shooting are also available locally. There is a fully equipped kitchen but guests are more than welcome to make a reservation to dine in our Michelin-starred Cedar Tree Restaurant (Wednesday-Saturday) or Bistro Enkel (Sunday-Tuesday). The property consists of: - A spacious open plan living area offers a lounge area with comfortable seating, smart TV, Tivoli Digital radio, leading on to a terrace area with patio furniture. No BBQs or open fires permitted. There is also a dining table to seat 4 guests. - A fully fitted kitchen with island unit is equipped with everything that you would need, including a washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. Basic cleaning up products will be provided. - A large master bedroom with a super-king bed, dressing area with built-in storage, Dyson hairdryer, smart TV. The bathroom features a claw foot bath, separate walk-in shower and double sinks, with Molton Brown toiletries provided. Complimentary wifi throughout the property. Linen, towels and robes will be provided. 4 persons maximum (with 2 children sleeping in sofa bed in the lounge). Guest access The entire cottage is yours to enjoy and free free to wander around the beautiful grounds. Other things to note We ask that guests respect our peaceful setting and our neighbours. No parties and no smoking indoors.
