Enchanted Cottage on a lake

A well appointed one bedroom stone and wood cottage in the 6 acre, edge of lake grounds of the owners house, surrounded by an extensive forest. The forest is home to a large number of wild animals and birds. Wild boar and deer are regular visitors, and there is even a small herd of European Bison in the local area. Fishing, cycling, swimming, and walking in the unspoiled calm of the North Western Polish forests, all right on your doorstep. An enchanted visit. The space A well appointed one bedroom stone and wood cottage in the 6 acre, edge of lake grounds of the owners house. The cottage is very comfortable with a large sitting/dinning room, a double bedroom, bathroom with shower and separate kitchen. The sitting room has an open log fire place which adds a nice warm romantic feel during the cooler evenings. A comfortable sofa and a large flatscreen tv with many channels including Netflix ensures a relaxing evening after a busy day exploring the area. A fully equipped kitchen ensures full self-catering with meals taken in the sitting/dinning room or outside in the covered wooden gazebo. A bbq and open bonfire area beside the gazebo is ideal for al fresco dinning. Guests should be aware that the nearest shops are 9 km away in Czaplinek. There is no bus or taxi availability. Guests must be self sufficient in transport. Guest access Access to all areas apart from the immediate space around the main house. This area is marked by a low strung rope. The cottage is accessed by a separate entrance to the property. Cars can be driven up to the cottage for unloading/loading but we prefer the car to be parked in a designated area a short walk away. Other things to note We have a couple of mountain bikes available for your use, and there are many fantastic cycle routes to enjoy. The lake is great for fishing and swimming, and we have a wooden rowing boat and a canoe available. However, due to an unprecedented lack of rainfall over the last couple of years, the lake has shrunk and can not now be accessed directly from our jetty. Swimming and use of the boat/ canoe is still possible, but quests have to walk a couple of hundred meters further around our property to reach the boat and swimming area.
