Villa Il Pozzo is an 18th-century country house, finely restored, located in the hills of Pistoia. The property enjoys a spectacular view and a privileged position for visiting the wonders of Tuscany: the centre of Pistoia is a 10-minute drive away, while Florence can be reached in about half an hour. Lucca is only 40 minutes away, with Pisa and Forte dei Marmi reachable in less than an hour. It has a large garden and an exclusive swimming pool. Accommodates up to 9 guests. The space The villa is furnished with antique furniture and has 2 kitchens, 2 large living areas, 4 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms. For families, cots/baby cots are available on request. The structure is arranged on slightly staggered levels, following the typical layout of a rustic Tuscan farmhouse. Ground Floor: Garden level: Large living room with dining area, game table and living room with fireplace and TV, featuring original beamed ceilings and Tuscan terracotta floors. Raised ground floor: First fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, oven), with direct access to the covered porch for outdoor dining (table for up to 12 people). Second kitchen: Also habitable, it has a large period fireplace with grill area, microwave and dining area for 8 people. Double living room: Located on a slightly lower level, with three large sofas, TV, fireplace and game table. First Floor: Accessible via two large flights of stairs, it houses the sleeping area, which is fully air-conditioned. First sector: Two double bedrooms (one with a cot) and a bathroom with a window, bathtub and shower. Second sector: Three double rooms (one large double with extra bed, one with two single beds, one with a queen-size bed) and a bathroom with shower. All rooms have a splendid panoramic view and period furnishings. Exteriors The villa overlooks a large lawn garden, a true green terrace with a 360° view. Exclusive swimming pool: 7x14 metres, surrounded by Tuscan terracotta and furnished with sun loungers and deckchairs. Includes changing room and outdoor shower. (Open from 15 May to 15 September). Garden: Partly shaded by centuries-old cypresses, it houses the ancient wrought iron well from which the farmhouse takes its name.
