This charming duplex-style apartment is located in Cà Nizza, an historic Ticinese house built in the late 1700s and expertly restored in 2022, in Marolta, a hamlet of Acquarossa. The house, which retains the typical features of yesteryear combined with modern comforts, offers the opportunity for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay in a so-called “energy spot” in close contact with nature and the traditions of one of the most captivating valleys in the Southern Alps. The space The apartment takes its name from an old, highly fragrant rose plant on the veranda. It stands out for its skillful combination of historic features (soapstone stove, solid granite and wood floors, original ceiling beams, restored doors and details) with the most modern comforts (combination kitchen, open-plan bedroom, underfloor heating, TV). Even the furniture is a mixture of tradition and modernity: refined and functional at the same time to allow you to fully enjoy the particular energy that the house emanates. The space is arranged over two floors connected by a convenient staircase made of solid walnut. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen and living room; on the second floor, there is an open-plan double bedroom with a shower and a toilet. The apartment also has an outdoor terrace for exclusive use, accessible directly from the living room, from which you can reach the house’s large common garden. The building’s historic vaulted cellars are also accessible and offer the opportunity to enjoy some local delicacies. Guest access Marolta is easily accessible by car on a convenient carriage road. Free parking is available for guests next to the house. Additional parking spaces are available in a public parking lot located 50 meters from Cà Nizza, where there is also a small electric vehicle charging station. On the other hand, it is more complicated to reach Marolta by public transport because the last stretch of road - from the bus stop of Traversa to Cà Nizza - was not served.
