Main Level Apartment in Dayton

This newly-renovated ground-level apartment has been comfortably furnished to be the perfect home base for your visit. Located on the first floor of our multipurpose building, this apartment is centrally located on Dayton’s Main Street and sits directly below an upper-level rental apartment. Sit on the quaint entryway deck while you enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or wind down at night with your preferred beverage before heading inside to enjoy your warmly-lit lower level hideaway. The space We’re so glad you’re here. First things first: You might notice some sawdust and a few big dreams here on the main level—that’s the future home of our hybrid coffee shop/tavern hybrid. We’re currently building out the space to bring our town the perfect blend of morning caffeine, afternoon pick-me-ups, and evening spirits. Be sure to come back and stay with us again once the espresso is flowing and the drinks are mixing! See below for additional information about the space. Enjoy your stay! - - - - - - - - - - This is a ground-level apartment that includes a full kitchen stocked with the essentials. Plates, silverware, cups and glassware, cooking utensils, and more can be found in the cabinets and cupboards. A select number of pots and pans are available in the lower cabinets. A Keurig coffee maker, French press, and toaster are also included, with a cafe-style table and seating for three [and an extra stool behind the bathroom door]. The intimately-arranged living space is complete with two couches [one including a hideaway bed], TV, small bookshelf of reading materials, and a number of board games and puzzles. A round table with seating for four is also located within the living area. Adjacent to the living area are two bedrooms, both including a queen-sized bed. Bedroom one has a small closet available to hang garments, as well as a storage area that includes cleaning supplies. An in-wall heating element is also included in this room. Bedroom two includes a queen-sized bed, an armoire for garments, as well as a high-back chair situated under the window. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, vanity, and small storage area. Guest access Parking is available on Main Street in front of the building. Drive-through parking in the alley between the property and neighboring residence [see photos] is available. Please park parallel to the building. Note that backing out of the alleyway may be necessary, as the upper rental has access to parking between the building and post office. We do not recommend that camper trailers, RVs, etc. park in the alleyway. If you are pulling any of these kinds of items, we recommend finding parking on an adjacent street. The entrance is located on the north side of the building, on a small ground-level patio, with a coded keypad for access. Please watch your step as you enter—there is a raised entry platform that requires a step down to enter the apartment. [See photos.] Other things to note Wifi network and password information will be available shortly before your arrival. A heating element for the unit can be found against the wall, near the bathroom. Bedroom 1 also has a built-in heating unit located directly below the window. An in-window air conditioning unit [summer months only] can be found in the living room. To keep our floors in good condition, we ask that you keep muddy, snow-packed, or otherwise dirty shoes within the shoe rack inside the door, or outside on the patio. Please be courteous if you must wear shoes inside the apartment. The interior door immediately off the second bedroom is an emergency exit only. A security camera is in place on the other side.
