Cherry Tree Cottage is a peaceful and characterful place to relax in the quiet village of Chatton, nestled in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. From the doorstep you can explore local walks in the Cheviot Hills, or take a short drive to Bamburgh, where you’ll find its stunning beach and iconic castle. The Percy Arms pub, known locally for its lovely food, is a minute’s walk from the cottage. The cottage is quirky! The space Cherry Tree Cottage is a little quirky and full of character, combining the charm of an older cottage with a newer, light-filled extension. Downstairs The downstairs is the newer part of the cottage. As you enter the house, you’ll first find a handy cloakroom area with hooks for coats and a wooden bench with storage for shoes. This leads into the bright open-plan kitchen and dining area, which feels spacious and welcoming thanks to the skylight above the dining table. It’s a lovely place to gather together, whether that’s sharing a meal, playing board games, or chatting over a cup of tea. The dining table comfortably seats 7–8 people. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with shower, along with two bedrooms: A bunk bedroom A king-size bedroom with its own toilet and sink Leading off the kitchen is the cosy living room, complete with a log burner. With plenty of seating, it’s the perfect place to relax in the evenings, watch TV, play games, or unwind with a glass of wine after a day out. Upstairs Upstairs is the original part of the cottage, full of rustic charm. Here you’ll find two more bedrooms: One with a double bed One with a super king-size bed Both rooms feel warm, cosy and full of character, keeping the traditional charm of the cottage. The cottage has its own parking space.
