The apartments of Villa Ambra are part of a villa up at the top of Positano, at the beginning of the town in the neighbourhood called Chiesa Nuova, a residential area of Positano. The apartments are close to the main road not far from the town-hall of Positano and close to the grocery butcher and fish market shop. Extras are touristic tax, which is 1,50€ per night per person excluded children under 10 y.o. Parking Spot in Villa is 30€ per car per day. The space The Apartment is situated at the first floor of the house, it can host up to 5 people and it measures 70 square meters. The apartment consists in 2 bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen area and 2 bathrooms. It also features a nice terrace with a splendid view of Positano and the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings of the living room are cosy and comfortable, they include a sofa and a sofa bed and a flat-screen satellite television, and the cooking area was just finely restored with colourful majolica. The kitchenette is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven (micro waves) an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher and an American-style coffee maker as well as an Italian espresso maker. The kitchen has a window overlooking the terrace and the living room, equipped with air-conditioning, also opens onto the terrace. Both the bedrooms are located each other to the opposite side of the flat in order to ensure more privacy and independence. The furnishings are elegant and the space full of light. Each room has a double bed, from the inside you will be able to access to the terrace through a French door. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning heating unit and each room has an en-suite bathroom, both of them decorated with a lucid handmade majolica. the Apartment anyway it is also to live outdoor, its home terrace is 70 square meters large. It is partly shaded by a porch and by an old carob tree. The terrace is equipped with masonry sofas, as well as with a table, chairs and an external shower. Here you will also find a portable barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea, of Positano and part of the Amalfi coast. Guest access Our guests have access to the terrace and to the garden which are used only for the House guests. The House is reachable from the road by a little pathway from Via corvo, once you have reached the villa you have to climb approximately 40 steps. If you park in the villa parking, you will be able to use an elevator till the 2nd floor of the villa and then from there approximately 30 steps. Other things to note Villa Ambra is located on a private hill of Positano far from the chaos of the centre and Positano is famous for its vertical architecture therefor be ready for steps.
