The Wee Highland Hut

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful wee Hut / glamping pod just 4 miles from the start of the Sandwood Bay walk. The view from the pod is breathtaking, and everything you need is fitted into this extremely small but well equipped living space. Perfect for a single person, but still ok for 2 people who are happy to share a small space. The space The Hut is extremely small but has a separate bathroom with flush toilet, hand basin and shower pod. The living area consists of a kitchen area with microwave, air fryer, toaster, kettle, dishes, first aid kit, hairdryer, fire safety equipment, lamp, torch, extension cable. The other side of the room has a single bed, made up with sheet, pillow, duvet (cover on it) and throw, with large cushions so that the bed can be used as seating. There is also a chair-bed with throw, which can be changed into a bed - the duvet, pillow, sheet, mattress protector, and ‘topper’ for this bed are in boxes under the bed. There is a patio area outside with a cigarette box, as smoking is not permitted indoors. The box on the patio contains 2 chairs and a table for outdoor use. The box can be opened using the small key on the key ring. Other things to note The Hut is at the top of our Croft where we often have our flock of sheep, lambs, and working dog around. Our neighbour also has a horse, alpaca, 2 sheep, hens, cockerel and ducks. We will always try to work quietly but apologise if that isn’t always possible.
