Cabin in Kvinesdal

Slow down and breathe in the quiet forest at Fossdal. Our traditional log cabin sits on a small farm surrounded by trees, streams and open land. This is a simple Norwegian cabin experience — calm, warm and away from modern distractions. There is no Wi-Fi, no TV and no running water and that is exactly the point. Beds are made on arrival so you can immediately relax by the fireplace. Perfect for families, nature lovers and anyone who wants a peaceful “back to basics” stay with comfort. The space Cozy living room with wood-burning stove and dining table. Fully equipped kitchen (water from a tank, no running water). Three bedrooms: -Private room with double bed – Family room with bunk beds over a doubter -Private room with bunk bed Indoor laundry room with sink (water from the tank) Outdoor composting toilet Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, the private terrace and the outdoor seating areas around the cabin. You are free to walk around the farm and the surrounding nature. The river and small waterfall are within walking distance and can be used for swimming. The wood-fired sauna can be used upon request for an additional fee. It is also possible to go for a walk with our alpacas (for a fee, by arrangement). Parking is at the designated parking area near the farm or next to the cabin. Other things to note This is a simple, traditional cabin, not a modern house. • No running water (water from a tank) • No Wi-Fi • Outdoor compost toilet Towels are provided. Please bring your own bath towels for the river, sauna, and swimming. The first bag of firewood is included. Additional firewood can be purchased at our wood stand on the farm. Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash or under good control due to our own animals. A car with good tires is recommended; in winter conditions 4WD is advised. We recommend bringing slippers/boots for outdoors and a flashlight for the evening. The cabin is located in a quiet natural area — suitable for guests looking for peace and nature.
