Flint Cottage is a unique and cosy 3 bed home. While we have carefully modernised this Grade II listed cottage, we have sought to preserve its soul. The décor draws inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement, blending contemporary comfort with a deep respect for its loveable heritage. Nestled in the South Downs and on the banks of the river Arun, our beautiful, quirky cottage will steal your heart. The space Flint Cottage is a 200 + year old property with quirky features, wonky walls and stone floors. Although the property has lovely modern heating, we recommend in the winter you bring cosy socks or slippers for warm tootsies on the terracotta and stone floors which are in some rooms ;) Each bedroom has its own personality: one sunny and summery, one chilled out and coastal and the single room warm and inviting, which also serves as access to the bathroom. Please let us know if you are bringing a small child and need anything specific for your stay in this room or the cottage itself. The contemporary shower is a particular favourite with guests and has three settings for your needs. We have a brand new fitted kitchen with all the mod cons including a Nespresso coffee machine. Please let us know if you require extra knowledge, or if you have a special request for your stay, we are happy to try to accommodate if we can ;) Guest access You are welcome to use all areas of the cottage. Please note that the original front door which faces the road side is not in action and all access is via the rear door.
