The structure is built using sun-dried bricks, with roof tiles sourced from ruins around Kombukal, keeping the space naturally cool and full of character. Underfoot, you’ll find cow-dung flooring, a traditional finish that adds to the cottage’s grounded, breathable feel. Other things to note At Kombukal, your stay includes three wholesome vegetarian meals every day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—so you can truly slow down and settle into the rhythm of the land. Our food is rooted in Karnataka cuisine, cooked with care using fresh, seasonal produce, and simple, honest ingredients.
