The trailer sits in a peaceful, private position at the edge of the grazing area, where our Shetlands are often nearby and lambs can be seen playing in spring and early summer. Free-ranging hens wander through the land and guests are welcome to share any eggs laid in the morning. We also have a kitchen garden that we are happy to share produce from. and The surrounding forest creates a calm and sheltered setting. Inside, the trailer is insulated and thoughtfully prepared, with a luxury king size bed and very comfortable mattress. The space is cosy, calm, and closely connected to the surrounding woodland, with our friendly flock grazing nearby. The trailer is designed as a tiny countryside retreat — simple, cosy, and intentionally connected to nature rather than a full house or cabin. There is the quiet luxury of Wi-Fi, electricity, soft lighting, and a kettle for making tea or coffee if desired. A small fridge is also provided for drinks and simple breakfast items and also a microwave. The trailer has a small sink with cold only running water set up with a water bottle. There is a clean, modern composting toilet, similar to those used in eco cabins and tiny homes. It is easy to use, odour-free, and part of the trailer’s low-impact countryside design. Guests are encouraged to spend gentle time near or interacting with the sheep. Many people find their calm presence deeply grounding and restorative. Our flock are super friendly and I have raised them to trust people. They love to be stroked and talked to or simply sat with out in the fields. We are in the heart of the New Forest and so there are many walking and cycling trials from our gate that guests can venture out on. The New Forest ponies graze nearby and pigs and cattle also roam freely. This stay offers a simple and peaceful overnight retreat in nature, allowing you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the land and the animals. Guest access Guests have private use of the horse trailer and the seating beside it. The trailer is situated on our smallholding within the New Forest National Park, with beautiful walks directly from the doorstep. Guests may spend quiet time with our super friendly Shetland sheep by arrangement. Please do not enter paddocks or approach animals without guidance, for their safety and wellbeing. In the event of rain or unexpected weather, a nearby shepherd’s hut may be used as a sheltered space for short periods if needed.
