The Vesly Tour

This tower nestled in the middle of the Norman bocage is all that remains of a 17th century castle, destroyed during the summer of 1944. After 80 years of abandonment, I sought to make it a simple and warm accommodation, with trees and pastures as the environment and the cows of the farm in the fields as the main neighbors. The Tower is in the heart of the bocage, 10 minutes from Coutances, 20 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from the landing beaches, one hour from Mont Saint Michel. The space On the ground floor is the dining room with the kitchen, simple but with all the necessary equipment. The first floor includes the living room with a sofa bed and the bathroom. There is also an outdoor terrace on this floor, set on the remains of the castle. The master bedroom is on the second floor with also a bathroom with toilet, hand wash and washing machine. The mezzanine with a single bed is on the third floor. There is the possibility to recharge electric cars for free from the accommodation. Other things to note For each stay in the tower, a tree will be planted in winter on the farm. You can choose the type of wood you want from a dozen offered. Following the planting, I will send you the GPS coordinates of the tree that you will have participated in planting. A pet is accepted as long as it is clean and kept on a leash near the cattle on the farm. There are many paths and fields to be able to walk freely with a dog on the property.
