Character house in the heart of a peaceful village

Located in the heart of a charming village of 300 inhabitants, a stone's throw from the church, this 180 m² stone house combines authenticity, comfort and natural freshness. Ideal for a family vacation, it offers a preserved setting and a warm atmosphere. The space Indoor - 4 spacious bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double bed, 2 children's bedrooms with single loft bed + possibility to add 2 single mattresses on the floor). - 2 Bathrooms and 2 toilets. - A bright living room and a naturally cool house in summer thanks to its stone walls. Outside - A pleasant hanging terrace for relaxing moments. - A shaded summer kitchen, perfect for outdoor dining. - A garden adjoining the house, as well as a second non-adjoining garden located right across the street, with a vegetable garden and chickens. We let you enjoy the fresh eggs; in exchange, we count on you to watch over our chickens and give them a little water. - A green and quiet setting, just 300 meters from a shallow river (trout river), ideal for cooling off. Facilities provided:: - 3 adult mountain bikes, 2 children's mountain bikes, a balance bike and a children's scooter to explore the surroundings. Environment and activities: The village is ideally located for discovering Auvergne, 35 minutes south of Clermont-Ferrand via the A75: * Issoire: 15 min * Saint-Nectaire: 20 min * Vallée des Saints (Boudes): 25 min * Ardes-sur-Couze Animal Park: 30 min * Besse / Murol / Lake Pavin: 35 min - Numerous possibilities for hiking, cultural visits, markets and bike rides. Important Things to note: This house is our main residence. We are looking for respectful renters who can take care of the place as if it were their own home. Located in the heart of the village, the house is next to the church, which chimes on the hour starting at 7:00 a.m., but the thick stone walls effectively keep the interior quiet. Guest access Our house has many stairs and half-stairs, unfortunately we cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility. Other things to note We will conduct a check-in and check-out visit with you.
