The Annexe is a spacious one bedroom accommodation, across two floors. It has it's own private entrance with exclusive use of a large private garden. There is off road parking for two cars. The space Exclusive use of this brick built, well insulated, two storey, spacious annexe, with central heating, situated within 2 minutes walking distance of the centre of the historic village of Ripe, near Lewes, East Sussex. The accommodation provides a welcoming warm, comfortable and private place within a peaceful village environment. Ripe Village Stores is in the centre of the village, and offers homemade frozen meals and local produce, as well as a café and a pop-up pub every Thursday evening. The world-famous Glyndebourne Opera House is a short distance away and Eastbourne and Brighton are about a 20-minute car journey. The Annexe boasts a 150ft long sunny private garden and albeit conveniently close to the centre of the village, it maintains a peacefulness. The garden has sun loungers and a small patio area with table and chairs. There is also a lockable shed for the storage of bicycles etc. The kitchen is very well equipped, especially for those who like to cook at home, and has a table and chairs for cosy dining. The lounge has two sofas and a large TV with access to standard channels via apps. The room overlooks the private garden. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath. The bedroom has a king size bed and large wardrobe. There are also Amazon Echo speakers in the lounge, kitchen and bedroom for you to connect via bluetooth or listen to radio channels. The annexe has its own private entrance with self-check entry. There are two allocated guest parking spaces for two standard cars on the drive. We live in the attached main house, but be rest assured your privacy is paramount to us. Should you need any assistance with local knowledge, attractions, information and restaurant recommendations please feel free to ask. The nearest local public house is ‘The Yew Tree’, in Chalvington, which is about a 25-minute walk away. It is very welcoming and rustic, with Harveys local bitter, as well as beers from the Longman brewery in Alfriston. Guest access The accommodation is across two levels and has a split staircase with a middle landing. There is parking for two standard cars on the private driveway, and the accommodation has its own private entrance with self-check entry. There is exclusive use of a 150ft private lawned garden. There is a lockable shed for bicycles etc. Other things to note There will be complimentary coffee pods and tea(s) upon arrival, along with milk.
