We rent a fully equipped vacation home in a unique location, right on the Eckernförder Bay. The house suitable for 2 to 4 people is located in 24369 Karlsminde, municipality of Waabs, Waldweg 33. Karlsminde is an agricultural estate, with third generation owners, employees and guests. It is a place "where time stands still." A place "where it is always only now", "without schischi - honest, simple, loving". That's what the guests tell us. The house is located on a beach lake where you can swim, overlooking the Eckernförde Bay and the Baltic Sea. The natural beach is beautiful and almost deserted with small bays and a steep coast. The house has three bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and a workshop with washing machine, a carport and a private parking space, three terraces and a jetty with bench. Location: Karlsminde is located in the north of Schleswig-Holstein, directly on the Baltic Sea between Eckernförde and Damp. Distances: Eckernförde about 8 km, Schleswig about 35 km, Kappeln about 25 km Various activities are possible: swimming, hiking, kiting, fishing, cycling, horseback riding (in Karlsminde), boat tours on the Baltic Sea and Schlei, golfing (in Altenhof (about 10 km), Güby (about 20 km)), museum visits e.g. in Gottorf Castle. For children there are various activities over the summer such as playgrounds, soccer, circus, children's house, horseback riding, etc. For dog lovers there is a dog beach, a dog meadow and an extra swimming lake, as well as many walking opportunities. In Karlsminde you will find a small supermarket with a special bakery selection (also open on Sundays) as well as a snack bar and a nice restaurant with sea views (about 10 minutes' walk), as well as a very special evening playground.
