The studio has a luxury pocket sprung king size bed, comfy sofa & table with chairs for dining. 1 adult dog on request not to be left alone. The space Torquay is located on the South Devon coast in the South West of the UK. It is part of an area which is often known as The English Riviera. The other towns that make up this area are Brixham and Paignton and include the communities of St Marychurch and Babbacombe. The English Riviera is focused around the very sheltered and beautiful Tor Bay and the area is also known by the shorthand term of Torbay. The English Riviera is one of the country's largest and longest established resorts and Torquay in particular has successfully transformed into a short breaks destination. Thanks to a very mild micro climate, Torquay has a shorter and milder winter than most other parts of the UK. The area also benefits from a large number of attractions most of which stay open all year round. The apartment is located in one of Torquay's grand old Victorian villas. It was originally built for a man who was a Member of Parliament for the area before it passed on to a colonial judge who named the building Muntham after the Hindi word for "Gentle Breeze". Now divided into apartments, the building retains much of its original charm and still has very evident grandeur inside and out whilst also being a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. This studio apartment is on the first floor and is accessed by the grand staircase. It is surprisingly spacious with more than 31 square meters of space and has a separate kitchen and shower room. The studio has a luxury king sized bed (5 ft width) with pocket sprung mattress. All bedding and towels are included in the rate and for guests staying more than seven nights we offer a complimentary bedding and towel change as well as a light clean. There is a sofa where guests can sit and relax. There is a modern flat screen TV with a built in DVD player and guests are welcome to borrow DVDs from our own collection. Also, in the room is a dining area with table and chairs for two people; this can also be used as a work space for guests on business. Free WIFI is included in the rate. Wifi speeds normally available - Max download speed (Kbps): up to 106000 and Max upload speed (Kbps): up to 18000. The apartment has a newly refitted separate kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven and electric induction hob, microwave, coffee maker and a dishwasher. We supply guests with a complimentary welcome pack of teas, coffees, milk etc. The apartment also has a newly refitted bathroom with electric shower. We supply guests with a complimentary welcome pack of toiletries. The apartment overlooks the garden at the rear of the property and benefits from distant see glimpses. The apartment has an allocated parking space in the car park with additional on street un restricted parking immediately outside the property. Guests with electric vehicles can make use of the two EV charging points at the property. Guest access Guests obviously have full use of the apartment and also have access to the one acre of grounds that surround the property. They are also more than welcome to make use of the conservatory at the front of the building. We also have a communal laundry room which has coin operated washers and dryers. We supply complimentary detergent. There are also irons and ironing boards too. Each apartment has a parking space in the car park located at the front of the property. There are two electric vehicle charging points at the property. Other things to note We have two resident miniature sausage dogs called Oscar and Hector. They are extremely friendly little chaps who love making new friends and getting up to mischief. We don't accept bookings from groups or parts of groups such as stags, hens and any such booking will be deemed to have been made in breach of our terms and as such be null and void.
