The space 🌅 A Hand-Built Island Retreat on the Isle of Luing Tucked away near Cullipool Village on the beautiful Isle of Luing, this detached wooden cabin is a handcrafted sanctuary designed for peace, privacy and connection to the sea. Built by the owner with care and character in every detail, the cabin offers a unique stay far removed from the ordinary — yet just 30 minutes from Oban. 🌿 The Space This is not a standard holiday let. Every beam, finish and detail reflects its handmade origins, creating a warm and soulful atmosphere. Wake to coastal air and views across the water, and settle into the quiet rhythm of island life. Whether you're reading, writing, walking the shoreline or simply watching the changing light over the sea, the cabin invites you to slow down. The cabin is set behind a working sea pier, which forms part of the island’s authentic coastal character. At times there may be boats moored or occasional machinery activity, which can partially interrupt the direct line of sight to the water. Activity is generally minimal, but guests should expect a genuine working harbour environment rather than a completely uninterrupted seafront panorama. The cabin is best suited to two adults. The sleeping area is a mezzanine-style space accessed by stairs, creating a cosy, tucked-away feel. Please note that ceiling height is low around the bed, so guests should be comfortable with reduced headroom and climbing stairs. For this reason, the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
