Cosy heated tiny house, surrounded by nature

Set on a large wooded lot in the heart of the village of Roulans, your tiny house becomes a haven that invites you to live to the rhythm of day and night. Built of wood and insulated with sheep's wool, it is a warm and heated cocoon for the chilly autumn and winter nights. In the morning, wake up to birdsong: robins, magpies and green woodpeckers will be your companions. And every morning, a squirrel comes by to prepare its stash. The space The tiny house is an unusual little nest, and that's what gives it all its charm. But its special features should be mentioned beforehand, so that the stay really suits you. You sleep in two open mezzanine areas, which are accessed via a ladder without a handrail. Once upstairs, it's a real cocoon: you lie down more than you sit, with about forty to fifty centimeters of headroom. It's cozy and a bit childlike, provided you're comfortable climbing up and squeezing into a low space. The tiny house is designed for agile and mobile guests: if climbing a ladder or tight spaces bother you, this is probably not the ideal retreat for you. The Tiny House is heated to provide indoor comfort on rainy days and winter nights. Here, we live to the rhythm of the seasons and the light: the coolness of the morning, the warmth of the day, the calm of the evening. It's this slight shift that makes the stay so charming. Guest access The Tiny House is located at the entrance to our property. Our house is a little further away. A cozy outdoor area with a large terrace has been specially designed for you. You can also take a stroll around if you wish. Other things to note Wi-Fi is not currently available directly from the accommodation. It can only be used outdoors. However, 4G is working normally. The Tiny House is not air-conditioned, as an environmentally friendly choice. For hot weather, it is equipped with a fan, and the bedroom windows open wide to let in fresh air at night. Despite this, its south-west orientation makes summer evenings hot: we are gradually working on providing natural outdoor shade for the days with the most exposure.
