Coachman's Cottage is a bright and spacious one-bedroom property sleeping two (plus a cot on request), set between Porlock and Porlock Weir. Downstairs comprises a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, a separate sitting room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a log-burner, and a bathroom with shower over the bath and underfloor heating. Upstairs, the bedroom has a king-sized bed and enjoys superb views across the garden to the sea and the Wales coastline beyond. The space The kitchen opens directly onto a private, enclosed walled courtyard, ideal for alfresco dining and a safe space for dogs. Guests also have access to a fenced, stock-free orchard immediately behind the cottage, with direct access to the Coleridge Way long-distance path. An outside tap is provided for muddy boots, dogs or washing down surfing equipment. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, plus toaster, kettle and full kitchen equipment. There's a Smart TV with Freeview and a CD player in the sitting room, a second television in the bedroom, and wireless broadband throughout. A travel cot and/or highchair can be provided on request. The cottage is eco-friendly, with biomass pellet central heating and PV electricity, both included in the price along with wifi, and a basket of logs is provided for the log-burner. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Off-road parking for two cars is available on the private drive, which is shared only with the owner's neighbouring property. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum two, or possibly three small/medium dogs on request) for a supplement of GBP 15 per dog; dogs should be kept off furniture and upstairs, and not left alone in the cottage. The property is strictly non-smoking and is not suitable for children or for guests with restricted mobility. Check-in is from 4 pm, with departure by 10 am.
