The space Ekerum is the most active resort in Sweden with 2 x 18-hole golf courses, 2 tennis courts, 3 paddle courts, off-road tracks for running and mountain bike loops and a newly renovated restaurant, perhaps Sweden's best gourmet pizzeria and the island's best Spa, etc. Within a 5-minute walk, you will find Ekerum's campsite with a large playground, grocery store, beach tavern, swimming pool and lovely sea swimming with a very child-friendly sandy beach. The Halltorps Hage Nature Reserve is just around the corner. Other things to note Ekerum is 25 km from Kalmar and 12 km south of Borgholm. Other excursion destinations are, for example, Öland's Animal & Amusement Park, Solliden, Borgholm Castle Ruins. It is only 30 minutes by car to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Kalmar with Kalmar Castle, Kvarnholmen's shops and restaurants or Hansa City with IKEA and other shopping.
