Gorgeous Riverside Tree House - 2 min walk to town

A short walk from central Mindo, this impressive work of craftsmanship, built almost entirely of beautiful local hardwoods, offers an idyllic natural setting surrounded by trees & overlooking a rushing river that will help you sleep like a baby. With lots of creature comforts - a cozy queen size bed & duvet, a well outfitted kitchen, consistent hot water, a 3rd floor loft with incredible views, use of the yoga studio & a short loop trail. Everyone always says - "this is absolute paradise". The space The large room below at ground level is also available for rent, likewise offering a comfortable bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom facilities, and wonderful views out to the garden. Guest access Feel free to use the yoga studio - either for yoga (just ask us for mats and other props) or to lie in one of he hammocks to relax or read. Feel free to put ripe bananas on the bird feeder platform and fill the hummingbird feeder (noting that it should be prepared at a ratio of 1:6 as amounts for sugar:water (healthier for birds here). Feel free to access the stairs down to the river and the short loop trail, noting there is a family of Guatusas (mammals) who are adorable and quite shy, as well as a family of Roufus Mot-Mot birds living around the yoga studio. Other things to note There is an additional public washroom down below for yogis using the studio. You are also welcome to pick fruit that is ready to harvest, including bananas, lemons, oranges, and guayabas/guavas. Although most people say they get the best sleep of their lives with the constant sound of the river rushing by, anyone acutely sensitive to noise may find it bothersome. During the day the air is filled with the sound of birds and at night, with tree frogs and crickets. It truly is paradise.
