Gossos 640 m above sea level – Fjätervålen

Welcome to our mountain paradise - Gossos! Here we hope you will enjoy yourself with family and friends. The house has been in our family's possession since it was built in 1975 and in 2000 it was expanded to 125 square meters, so now there is a bed for 11 people. Parking is available on the private plot for at least 3 cars and broadband via fiber is included. The space The house (Gossos) consists of two buildings of approximately 60 sqm each with a hall between them and where the entrance is. This makes Gossos perfect for two generations or families and everyone can fit and it doesn't feel like you're walking on each other. Over the years, we have put our personal touch, so maybe it feels like coming home. Gossos has a well-equipped kitchen that has most things such as complete tableware, coffee maker, tea maker, double waffle iron, electric whisk and microwave as well as dishwasher and washing machine. There is a fireplace in both parts and in one of them Apple TV, the other has Chromecast. Bedrooms: Master bedroom with an extra large double bed that is 210 cm wide, the green bedroom with a bunk bed, the blue bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed, "the cozy wardrobe" with a bunk bed and the youth loft with two thick inflatable guest beds. Large dining table in the same part of the house as the kitchen and a dining table with room for four in the other part. Two bathrooms, one with sauna, hall with drying cabinet and boot dryers. In the shed there are, among other things, sleds, snowshoes, reindeer skins, a charcoal grill, an additional refrigerator with a small freezer that you are welcome to use and be careful with, of course. Here in Fjätervålen's family-friendly ski resort, there are slopes for everyone, young and old, experienced and beginners. Fjätervålen is known for its long, nice slopes and basically non-existent lift queues. Read more on the Fjätervålen website - fjatervalen.se For those who like cross-country skiing and hiking, there are many miles of prepared ski trails that start just a few minutes' walk from the house. To the slalom slope you walk in about 10 minutes and on the way home you can easily glide down the ski track and there are also snowmobiles to rent at the facility. During the winter season, the small grocery store, restaurant and ski shop with rental are open. Other seasons of the year there are plenty of trails to hike and peaks to climb, of which Städjan is one of our favorites. If you like mountain biking, Idre Fjäll is only 30 minutes away by car and there are many bike trails. If you want to stock up on berries, you will find cloudberries, blueberries, lingonberries and those with an eye for mushrooms will be able to find them too. For those interested in fishing, there are lots of nice fishing waters. If there is anyone who has not had enough of this and must play golf, it is also possible at Idre Golf Club. We don't allow smoking and you'll have to leave your lovely pets at home. You bring bed linens, towels, etc. Since there is no cleaning service in Fjätervålen, you have to clean yourself, which we are very careful about. So leave the house as you would want to find it when you arrive. We have a cottage host who checks on the cottage after your visit.
