The space The famous Pennine Way runs directly through the town, presenting endless opportunities for cross-country adventure, and guests can easily choose a section of the route to explore the surrounding countryside. From here, journey towards Dufton (18.5 miles), heading over Cross Fell (11 miles) along the way. Hartside Pass, just 10 miles away, is a challenging yet rewarding destination for walkers and cyclists, boasting sweeping views across the Solway Firth to Scotland from its elevated vantage point. Beautiful décor has been thoughtfully used throughout this limestone cottage, blending traditional farmhouse charm with sweet features and elegant furnishings. Despite its classic character, the kitchen offers a contemporary finish, complete with modern fixtures and all the appliances needed to cater for the group. From here, step into the separate dining room, a welcoming space to gather and raise a glass at mealtimes, before moving through to the inviting lounge.
