Totally private estate. This is our large wonderfully equipped much-loved family holiday home, set in 3 acres of private gardens and woodland in the peaceful parish of St Andrew. Yet within easy walking and cycling distance of St Peter Port. The south-facing terrace and pool area enjoy sunshine throughout the day, making it a lovely place to relax, unwind, and enjoy island life. Swimming pool, table tennis, foosball (table football), music room, study, ample private parking (8 cars). The space Our holiday home, “Le Foulon House” is a spacious wonderfully equipped secluded family holiday home set in 3 acres (12,000 sq metres) of privately owned gardens and wooded ‘forest’ in the parish of St Andrew, within easy cycling and walking distance of St Peter Port. The open garden terrace and swimming pool area face south and capture the sun all day long. Our island holiday home is equipped & provisioned to maximise our family time there when we gather from all over the world to catch up, catch our breath reminisce meet up with our island based family and freinds and enjoy being on one the world’s most welcoming friendly safe islands with spectacular scenery, wonderful beaches, stunning coastline lots of history and excellent food & wine. Sport. Swim in the private pool, play table tennis (new, 2025 full size professional table) or table football (on the tournament standard Garlando foosball table), enjoy the minimally equipped gym (yoga mats, basic weights & bands, TV to follow guided workouts), play darts and then cycle to town or the beaches. Bicycles: 2 adult e-bikes (one Trek men’s 2023 and one Genesis ladies 2022), 3 regular (non -e) adult bicycles come with the house – all good quality and with helmets. Two stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) with carbon paddles, two kayaks and several surf boards are also available for guests who are able and willing to take them to one of Guernsey’s 27 beaches. Food. Fully equipped lovely open kitchen; two large fridges plus wine fridge. Outdoor gas BBQ and separate pizza oven make entertaining a pleasure; whether eating outside in the gardens or in the heated gazebo, or inside be that at the kitchen table or in the formal dining room which has seating for 10 comfortably or 12 at a push. Entertainment. Plenty of board games; Azul, monopoly etc. There is a wonderful ‘cinema like’ TV room for movie nights, the football and rugby or (if you must) playing on the PS4 or Nintendo Switch. The music room has an upright piano, several guitars, a Yamaha trumpet, ukuleles and lots of sheet music. The piano is regularly tuned and our extended family have several keen musicians. Accommodation. Four full size ensuite bedrooms (each with a double bed), plus the large separate office/study on the ground floor which has a small double sofa bed. More than ample space for all family activities; and the quiet office/study if someone needs to work whilst they should be on holiday. There is a new (2026) baby’s cot available for younger guests and a high chair. Parking. A private driveway leads up to the hosue where there is private on-site parking for about 8 vehicles. Also, only in Guernsey can you park in town for free and get a parking place by the beaches in July and August. The Space. Le Foulon is a warm welcoming family home, designed for comfort and relaxation. Equipped and provisioned for us as a large family to make the most of our sadly now limited time together when we all gather on Guernsey. The garden features a spacious terrace with a comfortable outdoor sofa set, a covered pergola dining area with heating. BBQ and pizza oven. The pool area is perfect for lounging and enjoying the surroundings. The house also includes a fully equipped laundry area. We hope that every detail has been considered to allow us when we are there (and you) to make the very most of your holiday on this beautiful island, embraced by the welcoming community of Guernsey. Shopping. There is no VAT/ GST in Guernsey and no luxury good import tax, thus it may be time to indulge? Guest access The entire estate, all 3 acres (12,000 square m) of forest and gardens, the whole house which has 4 en-suite bedrooms plus study, music room and wonderfully equipped kitchen plus large double garage for indoor table tennis. Other things to note Guernsey & Other Things to Note Our holiday home Le Foulon House is perfectly positioned. Walk, run, or cycle directly from the property, explore the countryside, or enjoy the sea with swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking. Wildlife enthusiasts will spot seals, seabirds, dolphins or even shoals of tuna along the coast. Fishing and crabbing are popular local pastimes, and early morning coastal walks offer peaceful starts to the day. Cycling. Bicycling down endless ‘route tranquil’ takes you past fields of Guernsey cows, fortifications from the Romans to WW2 and numerous hedge veg stops (it’s a Guernsey thing – buy your eggs, vegetables, flowers from a hedge mounted box on the road side and leave the money, an honour system that works wonderfully). Guernsey’s 27 beaches & bays, and the coastal paths are ideal for relaxation, or you can simply unwind in the garden, enjoy the pool, or fire up the barbecue. St Peter Port is within walking/cycling distance (take one of the e-bikes), and offers vibrant shops, cafés, restaurants, markets, the Guernsey street music festival and historic streets to explore. The harbour is lively, and the friendly local community makes everyone feel welcome and at home. Candie Gardens and Saumarez Park have various events on throughout the year. The annual Guernsey Literary Festival is a ‘must attend’ as are the evening cinema at Castle Cornet - the castle that dominates St Peter Port harbour. There is motor racing at the go kart track (something we always do when in Guernsey), local soccer and rugby to watch (or participate in), choirs, table tennis club, and lots and lots of sea swimming. Shopping. There is no VAT/GST in Guernsey. St. Peter Port is delightful with a wide and varied range of charming local shops and some international ones. Parking in town is free. Food. For a modestly sized island Guernsey supports the most remarkable range of restaurants from great local pubs to Michelin starred restaurants to some of the best Cantonese Chinese food this side of Hong Kong. We would recommend you make any restaurant bookings as soon as possible. Locally produced food including a wide range of fresh seafood is available in some specialist shops around the island, in Waitrose and at the ‘hedge veg’ stops. Amazing unique island. If you have never been to this part of the world you will be very pleasantly surprised. It is simply quite an amazing unique place. Steeped in history, blessed by its geography, graced by its inhabitants. Enjoy.
