Upstairs, the vaulted king-sized bedroom is calm, airy and beautifully styled, with original, exposed natural beams, Pooky bedside lamps and luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding. The space comfortably sleeps two adults, but there is also room for a travel cot for under 3s and, if needed, we can provide a comfortable floor mattress and bedding, suitable for a child up to around 7 years old. The en-suite bathroom features a generous walk-in rainfall shower, marble tiling, a chic vanity wash basin with stylish Alice Palmer/Pooky wall lights, luxury toiletries and fluffy towels. NB: It is shower only, but we can provide a baby bathing rest upon request. Downstairs, Glebe Cottage is full of character. Original flagstone flooring, exposed beams and thick stone walls create warmth and atmosphere, while oil central heating and underfloor heating upstairs ensure it is always exceptionally cosy. The tiled flooring is the ideal place for your "furry friends" to sleep! The large dining room seats 10+ people with cosy armchairs next to the wood burner. We can provide logs and kindling for your stay. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long rural walk - with a good book or a board game! The kitchen is anchored by a traditional AGA with two ovens and two hobs, ideal for slow breakfasts and relaxed suppers. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided, kettle, toaster and rice maker. * Fast 500mb WiFi is available throughout. ************************************************* Garden & Outside: * Private gated driveway parking for 3+ cars is included. Glebe Cottage has its own enclosed private garden, safe for both dogs and children, with lawn and firepit. Guests with children also have access to the nearby area of our adjoining family garden with a playground and trampoline (at your own risk). A gate leads directly into open fields and public footpaths. You can walk three fields to the village pub, The Bell, or follow scenic routes along the brook towards Great Elm, Frome and Babington. The countryside here is truly beautiful. Enjoy the horses, cows, sheep and pheasants you come across but please do not feed the animals, keep dogs on short leads if necessary and be wary with young children! ************************************************* This is a place to slow down, cook properly, walk for miles, sit by the fire and enjoy the countryside.
