"Il Silenzio" is located in a small traditional Cretan village in southern Heraklion, «Magarikari» where peace and quiet are more than enought. Ideal for guests who want to: •visit sunny beaches, lively places, historical and mountainous sights •relax together under the stars •full their minds and hearts with memories. The space Our house is built on two levels and is divided into two apartments with an external staircase. The "Il Silenzio" (first floor) entry concerns the hospitality we provide only on the first floor in order to make its price more affordable for families with fewer members. So the first floor may accommodate 2 adults and 2 litle children if you think that the place is comfortable (about 34 sq. M) and apropriete for 4 persons ( there is a sofa in it that becomes a bed for two children). On the first floor (about 34 sq. M) there is a bedroom, a single space with a kitchen, a sofa bed, a table where you can place your computer and a small bathroom with shower. It has two balkonies, one ideal for dining and relaxing with a view of the Libyan Sea and the second and the largest overlooking the mountains and olives of the area. 10-25 minutes divide it from: - Beautiful sunny beaches of southern Heraklion such as: Komos, Matala, Kokkini Ammos, Aphrodias, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos, Agia Galini, Pachimadi, Kalamaki etc -Historical sights such as: The Palace of Phaistos, Gortyn, Agia Triada, Kommos, Matala the Museum of Cretan Ethnology in Vori.Our landmarks such as: The forest of Rouvas, Zaros and Votomos. -Places where you can have fun and good food such as: Matala, Kalamaki, Kamilari, Agia Galini, Mires, Kokkinos Pyrgos etc. The feeling of returning after a wonderful day at sea or mountains and the relaxation and tranquility that follows in the courtyard of our house overlooking the Libyan Sea with meze, good company and wine under a sky full of millions of stars is incredible.
