The space The cottage is set within the grounds of Stretton Lower Hall, a grade 2 listed building built in 1660, the property was bought by Kieran & Dawn Toner in oct 2024 and they have been renovating it, the cottage, and 3 barns and piggeries ever since , to provide a family home with luxury holiday let accommodation. The Cottage is a wonderful 3 bed property, modern in style with some original older features like the wooden twisted beams, found when the ceiling was lifted and the dutch gable end brickwork. With bedroom views of carden park hotel & Spa with a relaxing outside space to watch the sunrise or star gaze in the evening. we are walking distance to Carden park golf course, a few mins from Bolsworth there is a modern fitted kitchen with washing machine/dryer/dishwasher and all the cutlery you could want. Every detail has been thought out to create the best pace for you, your family and friends to enjoy. The Cottage has 1 bedroom downstairs which has a large ensuite shower room. With a King-size bed, Storage space for bags below, and views of Carden Park. Ideal for those with limited mobility, however the entrance to the room has a slightly smaller door frame and is not wheelchair accessible. There are a further 2 bedrooms upstairs both with King size beds, storage for bags below, one is ensuite with a shower the other has access to the family Bathroom, containing a Shower over a family bath, Toilet and sink, touch light and heated mirror. We are a rural location but still 20 mins to Chester and Chester Zoo, 20 mins to Wrexham and Whitchurch. We are 5 mins from the Bolesworth Estate, Cholmondeley Castle, Beston and Peckforton, a stone's throw away from Carden Park, Carden Golf course, There are great local attractions like Chester Zoo, Crocky Trail, Bewilderwood, Erddig, Chester races, Alton Park. We are renovating the 3 barns that are in the same location of the cottage and you will see the building works from the driveway. But this shouldn’t affect your time with us, and the cottage is stand alone beautiful. We will try our best to limit and building work during the mornings and evenings.. Guest access The cottage is completely self contained, it has a walled garden to the rear and own entrance from the drive, you have parking on site. we are in a rural location with a large field next to the cottage you can access this and as hosts we do live next door and have chickens onsite you are more than welcome to come see the chickens and see if there is an egg or 2 available for breakfast. Other things to note We do have chickens onsite. Our family pets, and much loved, the garden is also not secure so all dogs must be kept on a lead. there is still a little building work going on around site but this is aimed to work around the times our guest stays and will be kept to a min, We will require a security deposit of £150, this information will be sent after your booking. And is only held during your stay.
