This one-room holiday apartment for two people comprises a combined living and sleeping area with a fully equipped, high-quality kitchen, a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs for relaxing after a great day out, and a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) for restful nights. A shower room completes the holiday apartment. The space Gut Osterhausen was built in 1864 as an indoor house with red bricks and looks back on a long history. In the listed farmhouse, on the upper floor, which was formerly the storage room for the harvest, there are three individually designed and superbly furnished holiday apartments for two to five people. On the terrace, which has seating for each holiday apartment, you can spend pleasant hours outdoors and wind down at the end of your day. The estate complex also includes a beautiful park with old trees and a pasture where sheep graze in the summer. The idyllic property covers about 1.5 hectares and borders the Fedderwarder Sieltief to the east. At numerous cozy seats, visitors can enjoy the peace and nature in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea. We will be happy if you not only want to live in this special place, but to experience it. Our high-quality, individually furnished holiday apartments are located on the upper floor of the manor house, which was formerly the storage room for the harvest and has been converted into three holiday apartments following extensive renovation work. Gut Osterhausen is a registered single monument and is currently being restored in sections. In individual areas of the house on the ground floor, conservatory work on historic murals can take place at times. Your booked apartment is not affected by this. On request, we offer a small tour of the historic building and insights into the restoration. Exclusive Offer: Guided Tour & Insight into Restoration We are happy to offer interested guests a personal tour of selected areas of the house. As part of this tour, you will receive: • Insights into the history of the estate • Monument status background information • Explanations of historical murals and drawings on the ground floor • Information on restoration techniques • Insight into ongoing or preparatory restoration measures (if currently accessible) on the ground floor. Many guests feel this “behind-the-scenes” view is a special highlight of their stay. Guest access The estate park, the terrace in front of the house, and the lounge area on the upper floor are accessible to all guests. Other things to note The Schwalbennest holiday apartment has been awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association. Bed linen is included, a towel package can be booked directly above us for €6 per person per stay. The apartments are located on the 1st upper floor. If you need help with your luggage, please feel free to contact us. On site, the tourist tax of the municipality of Butjadingen is due. This will be collected by us and you will then receive your guest cards. Additional Clause Monument & Restoration Work The object Gut Osterhausen is a listed individual monument. Restoration and conservation work can take place during the stay in non-rented areas of the building. This can lead to optically perceptible working areas or minor disturbances in generally accessible areas at times. The booked residential unit remains available in accordance with the contract. By booking, the guest acknowledges the status of the monument as well as possible ongoing, professionally executed restoration measures outside the booked residential unit. Reduction or damage claims only exist in the event of significant, unannounced disruptions to the booked residential unit.
