The comfortably luxurious Garden Room leads off a pretty enclosed courtyard. The room is light and spacious, with beautiful views. It has an ensuite shower room with luxury toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes. The room has hanging and drawer spaces, a small fridge, and a tea/coffee tray. The paved courtyard outside features plants, tables and benches. A lockable cupboard under the courtyard stairs can store outdoor clothes, boots and bags. The space The annexe rooms at Broadhayes are in a self contained unit in our family home in Broadhempston village. The two bedrooms are each separately accessed from a pretty plant-filled courtyard where guests are welcome to spend time relaxing. There are tables and benches, and it's a perfect space to spend a sunny afternoon or time under the stars. The house also has a large beautiful garden and orchard with extensive views over farmland and up to Dartmoor. A walk down through the gardens takes you straight to one of the village's two excellent pubs. The second pub is only a ten minute walk away through the village. Broadhempston is a little paradise, and a gem. It's quiet - no main road, just country lanes, no street lights or pavements and plenty of footpaths into surrounding woods and farmland. It's also a vibrant village, with lots going on. There's a thriving primary school, a community shop and coffee bar, a newly renovated playground and a large stylish village hall as well as the two pubs. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the courtyard, and if the rope barrier is not in place (for mowing and maintenance), most of the garden and orchard too. Parents are expected to keep their children under close supervision - there is a large pond in the garden, high walls and wild areas of vegetation. We ask guests to access the garden down the path to the left of the top lawn. During your stay My telephone number and a back up number are included in the welcome pack. We are usually at the property and available to guests who need help or information. However, all guests have the opportunity to be completely private in the courtyard area .
