Cozy mini cabin with panoramic views near Voss

The mini cabin at Høgelibu is a smartly furnished small cabin of 29 m2. Large ceiling height still contributes to a good room feeling. The cabin is suitable for a family of up to five, a couple or good friends. The view is great and the place is perfect for a time-out in the mountains combined with skiing, hiking, more or less extreme sports or shopping and café life in the cozy Voss city center. You have to work, you say? Bring your home office to the mountains - the cabin has WiFi. Enjoy the view and a good book from the hook! 🙂 The space Welcome to Høgelibu! Welcome to a modern and cozy mini cabin of 29 m2 plus a loft, located 15 min/11 km from the center of Voss. We'll give you access to a detailed cabin manual after booking, which answers most of the practical questions you might have prior to your arrival. It contains our local guidebook with personal recommendations for attractions, day trips, etc. Bedrooms: - Double bed (160 cm wide) Loft: - 3 mattresses (80 cm) on the floor (NOTE: Step ladder to get up, not suitable for small children without supervision) Kitchen: - Induction stove with 2 hobs, small oven (room for a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm). - Small fridge and tiny fridge freezer. - Dishwasher. - Pots, pans and tableware. - Kettle/press, small coffee maker as well as Nespresso machine (bring your own favorite pods). - Dining area with space for 5 people (bench with cushions + 2 chairs). One armchair. Bathrooms: - Toilet, sink and shower. - Towels included (one large and one small per person) Other than that: - Wi-Fi is included. - Parking for 1 car outside (note 15 steps from parking space up to front door). - Tiled small terrace at the front with morning/morning sun with dining table (perfect for morning coffee and breakfast) and two armchairs and panoramic views. - Wood-chip covered outdoor area in a cozy backyard with seating areas/picnic tables and afternoon/evening sun. Perfect for dinner. - Campfire pan (buy with a bag of firewood from the nearest grocery store). Suitable as a base for (cross-country) skiing in the local ski trail/hiking area, mountain hikes, visits to Voss (15 min by car) and alpine skiing at Bavallen/Voss Resort (20 min by car) or in Myrkdalen (40 min by car). Other sights in the area (driving time): - Flåm (60 min) - Trolltunga (120 min) - Vøringsfossen/Hardangervidda (60 min) - Eidfjord (45 min) - Skjervsfossen (20 min) - Gudvangen (55 min) Guest access You rent the entire mini cabin/annex. The cabin is located right next to the main cabin, which may be in use by us or rented to others. There is a shared parking space, where one space is reserved for the users of the annex. The main cabin and annex are cleverly located quite undisturbed in relation to each other, with different entrances and outdoor areas. There are two private, tiled outdoor areas with space to enjoy the sun and for al fresco dining. Other things to note Due to ladder stairs up to the loft, the loft is not suitable for smaller children who can fall and settle, should possibly be in the bedroom. Unfortunately, due to allergies, pets/dogs are not allowed. Cleaning is included. However, you are expected to clean up after yourselves and take the garbage down to the recycling station down the road. The cabin is located close to Voss hiking and ski center, with a few hundred meters walk to ski trails (cross-country skiing). The nearest ski center with alpine skiing/ski lifts is Voss Resort (approx. 20 min drive from the cabin). Safety: There are smoke detectors in all rooms and an outdoor fire escape from the window by the sleeping loft.
