Mini cabin with panoramic view of Voss/5 people

The mini cabin at Høgelibu is a smartly furnished small cabin of 29 m2. Large ceiling height still contributes to a good room feeling. The cabin is suitable for a family of up to five, a couple or good friends. The view is great and the place is perfect for a time-out in the mountains combined with skiing, hiking, more or less extreme sports or shopping and café life in the cozy Voss city center. You have to work, you say? Bring your home office to the mountains - the cabin has WiFi. Enjoy the view and a good book from the hook! 🙂 The space Welcome to Høgelibu! Welcome to a modern and cozy mini cabin of 29 m2 plus loft, located 15 min/11 km from Voss city center. We'll give you access to a detailed cabin manual after booking, which answers most of the practical questions you might have prior to your arrival. It also contains our local guide with personal recommendations for attractions, day trips, etc. Bedrooms: - Double bed (160 cm width) Loft: - 3 mattresses (80 cm) on the floor (NOTE: Step ladder up, not suitable for smaller children without supervision) Kitchen: - Induction hob with 2 plates, small oven (room for pizza with diameter 30 cm). - Small fridge and tiny fridge freezer. - Dishwasher. - Pots, pans and tableware. - Kettle/coffee press, small coffee maker and Nespresso machine (bring your own favorite capsules). - Dining area with room for 5 people (bench with pillows + 2 chairs). One armchair. Bathrooms: - Toilet, sink and shower. - Towels included. Otherwise: - WiFi is included. - Parking for 1 car outside (note 15 steps from the parking space up to the front door). - Tiled small terrace on the front with morning sun with dining table (perfect for morning coffee and breakfast) and two armchairs and panoramic views. - Tiled outdoor area in cozy backyard with seating/picnic tables and afternoon/evening sun. Perfect for dinner. - Fire pan (buy firewood yourself from the nearest grocery store). Suitable as a base for (roller) skiing in the cross-country/touring area locally, mountain tours, visits to Voss (15 min by car) and alpine skiing at Bavallen/Voss Resort (20 min by car) or in Myrkdalen (40 min by car). Other attractions in the area (driving time): - Flåm (60 min) - Trolltunga (120 mins) - Vøringsfossen waterfall/Hardangervidda mountain plateau (60 min) - Eidfjord (45 mins) - Skjervsfossen (20 mins.) - Gudvangen (55 mins) Guest access You rent the entire mini cabin/annex. The cabin is located right next to the main cabin, which can be used by us or rented to others. There is a shared parking space, where one space is reserved for users of the annex. The main cabin and the annex are cleverly located quite undisturbed in relation to each other, with different entrances and outdoor areas. There are two new (May 2021) and undisturbed, tiled outdoor spaces with space to enjoy the sun and to eat outside. Other things to note Due to the staircase up to the loft, the loft is not suitable for smaller children who can fall down and hurt themselves, should possibly rather sleep in the bedroom. Due to allergies, pets/dogs are unfortunately not allowed. You clean yourself (washing instructions and all cleaning equipment are available). In addition, all contact points (door handles, light switches, etc.) will be cleaned between each rental. If you do not want to clean yourself, it may be possible to order cleaning - get in touch!
