The space Lyme Park (4 miles) is a glorious house with over six centuries of history and 1,400 acres of wild moorland to explore. Chatsworth House and Gardens is 21 miles away and well worth a visit, as is the Spa town of Buxton (10miles). For a family adventure, delve into the caverns of Castleton for an underground expedition or wander the picture-perfect villages of Little Hayfield, Hope and Bamford (all within 15 miles).
