Shaded by an incredible canopy of macadamia trees, a striking poinciana, and a seasonal jacaranda, it’s easy to access yet wonderfully secluded — calm, private, and deeply connected to nature. Explore nearby highlights including the Mary River, the Mary Valley Rattler, Amamoor State Forest, and local horse riding, or simply stay in and soak up the stillness. You may also meet a few gentle locals on the property — sheep, and two friendly horses, Ted and Tim. This 139-square-foot tiny home features a queen-sized bed for two adults, easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and a bathroom. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes. IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a house on the property that was affected by a previous fire. The tiny home remains private, and the surrounding area is still beautiful and peaceful. Guests may briefly notice the structure when arriving or leaving the property. Guest access Guests have access to the tiny home and are welcome to walk around the property. The main Queenslander house is private and not accessible to visitors. At La Rochelle Estate – Organic Orchard Escape, guests can enjoy a fresh and hearty farm breakfast featuring their choice of English Breakfast, peppermint, green tea, or chamomile, along with refreshing orange or apple juice. Guests can also enjoy "Mrs Knickers’ Famous Shortbread Scones", a treasured family recipe passed down through generations and served warm with butter, homemade jam, and fresh cream. The Big Farm Breakfast includes free-range eggs, bacon, sausages, grilled tomato, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns, served with a choice of toasted sourdough or fresh bread. Breakfast is prepared fresh each morning using local and seasonal produce wherever possible, and orders should be placed by 6:00 PM the night before.
