Washer & clothes line & dryer available for guests staying 3 nights or more. We deep-clean between lettings but ask that the place be left as it was found. During your stay Having been a landlady for over two & a half decades. Now I want to focus my endeavours on our family mostly located on the other side of the country. I'm happily married with a diverse circle of family and friends, some are keen exponents of culture, gardening and mostly I want to go easy on the planet, so now with the help of Wexford friends I’m running a clean self-catering facility in a peaceful home, providing comfy beds & decent showers. I hope this makes my guests feel valued. You'll have an information folder on Wexford with map. I find it is a good thing to exchange mobile phone numbers & we can communicate by phone, WhatsApp or online using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN ([email protected]). It is a very quiet home, with new'ish wooden & double glazed windows. Quite often we have had guests who were relocating to Wexford & while house-hunting use Cuasnog as a safe haven & base to springboard onto more permanent accommodation. Other things to note Wexford is a picturesque coastal town, less than 2 hours south of Dublin. Famous for it's restaurants, fine clothes shops, craft & art galleries, weekly farmers markets and there's plenty of 'craic' to be had. All within easy walking distance. Cosmopolitan Wexford is now home to the National Opera House which has created a spin-off artistic culture in many spheres so you will find talent here from séan nós dancing to trained voices, many choirs, musicians, orchestras and traditional sessions all flourish here . We have a week long drama festival during spring. Then a light opera week & a thriving arts center. Many notable composers and writers live in Wexford. See the 'Haythorntwaite video for "why live in Wexford?"' Sight-seeing in this beautiful corner will keep you busy & educate you. If you cannot explore by car yourself there are professional experts at hand. Why not base yourselves here to explore Ireland's Ancient East and enjoy the Three Sisters 2020. Slaney Tours with the indubitable entertaining guide Jim Shannon is a must if groups are here even for just a few days, easy to make up a group with nearby B&B's and Clayton White's Hotel who regularly hold wedding parties and National conferences. We are happy to recommend tours for groups and individuals i.e. walking historical tours of Wexford, or the chauffeured Hook Safari with Sean Cooke or even a trip to the Cliffs of Moher or Carnivan Bay with Jim of Slaney Tours, he can also offer airport transfers, taxi service, and a chauffeur service.
