The cottage has a great kitchen leading through to spacious dining room, with conservatory off that and a good sized sitting room with two three seater sofas beyond the dining room. There are four bedrooms; two doubles, one single and one family room with a double and single bed, three en-suites and a family bathroom with cloakroom, making it easy to get ready when there's a full house. The house is comfortable and easy to live in and very practical too with solid oak floors throughout the kitchen and reception rooms. This large single storey family-friendly holiday home comes with a fabulous enclosed large garden, lovely and private, laid mainly to lawn with mature trees and shrubs, making it a perfect place to spend sunny afternoons relaxing and long evenings catching the last of the sun's rays. With two terraces, one at the rear of the property and one set within the main garden area, and garden furniture and gas barbecue there's no excuse for not dining al fresco. The cottage is within easy walking distance of all the excellent pubs and restaurants in the village, including the ever popular Thornham Deli, The Orange Tree, The Lifeboat Inn and The Chequers and at the further end of the village there is Eric's Fish and Chips, Gurney's fishmongers and the fabulous Drove Orchard's farm shop with facilities to pick your own fruit. Approached via a shared driveway and a five bar gate, there is a shingle drive to the front of the cottage with parking for three cars. Once the gate is closed the front and rear gardens are fully enclosed.
