Guest access Some areas of the property are shared with other guests, including the parking area, guest laundry, main lawn, and communal firepit area. These spaces are designed to be enjoyed respectfully and quietly by all guests. Other things to note We are set in a Tasmanian bush–coastal setting surrounded by native flora and local wildlife (including snakes). Wildlife sightings are part of the magic — please enjoy them from a distance and don’t feed or approach animals.Staying on marked paths and being weather-aware helps keep everyone safe. The George Tasmania is located on top of Mount George in a rugged coastal mountain setting, with some steep drops, particularly beyond pod decks. Guests must stay on designated walkways and pod decks, wear suitable walking shoes, and keep cool-weather layers handy as conditions can change quickly. Children are welcome, however constant adult supervision is required due to unfenced areas, uneven ground, elevated decks and wildlife. The property is not child-proofed.
