Private Home in the Woods Located near Lake Pentenwell - Newly Renovated Basement! The space The home, which is located on 4 acres of land, is perfect for those looking for a weekend getaway and to enjoy time in nature. Our home is conveniently located about a 3 min drive from Juneau County Wilderness Park and there are many beaches and playgrounds nearby. There are various public ATV/snowmobile trails nearby. Lake Pentenwell is the 2nd largest lake in Wisconsin and is a 10 minute walk to the nearest access point. There are several boat launches nearby for those looking to spend time on the water. Our home is located about 10 miles from the nearest gas station and grocery stores so we encourage that you come prepared with food and plenty of gas. You will be required to gain access through a lockbox and turn on and off utilities and security system upon check in and out. While I will not be there to meet you at your check in, I can be reached by telephone if you have any questions. All check in and out procedures will be clearly marked when you arrive. We have neighbors on both sides of the property so we ask guests to remain inside the property boundary and be mindful of noise. In addition, cellular service can be spotty depending on your carrier and there may not be service directly inside the home. Service can be found closer to the road and near the lake. Guest access Our home is fully furnished with many comfortable amenities and perfect for groups looking to get away. The kitchen is stocked and has everything you need to prepare meals. The living room has a fireplace and couch which can be put together to sleep on. TV gets basic nearby channels, but we have many films to choose from. Main level has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and there is a small case of stairs that you will need to go up to reach main level. The basement has an additional bedroom and bathroom with common area and couch. Hot water is limited so keep your showers short. Washer and dryer located in basement with plenty of extra towels and linens. Can sleep 12 people comfortably with extra space on couches and room for air mattresses if needed. Outside there is an additional patio area with seating and a garage. There are many bikes for guests to use in the smaller garage to explore the area. There is an open field with a fireplace and firewood for small fires. Guests can also follow the trails in the backyard into the forest within the marked property lines. There are many various public trails for ATV/snowmobiles which are outlined in our guest book. ***The guests can utilize the house and detached garage only. Garage and boat house are off limits to guests. Our home will require you to open a lockbox for entry to home, disable home alarm system, and turn water on and off upon arrival. Further instructions will be given when reserved and also described in our guest book. Our home is remotely located so cell service in the home is rare. Cell service can be found closer to the road and at the lakefront.
